What is the difference between mindfulness and meditation?

During my classes I generally refer to meditation as being seated, walking or lying down and practicing the mindfulness technique of focussing on a single object ie your body or breath.

How long will the course take?

From Worrier to Warrior is a 6-week experience, with weekly 90 minute live and interactive lessons on Zoom.


How will I gain the most from the course?

Mindfulness is like physical fitness; it requires commitment, practise and time to work. In order to get the most from the course, we recommend:

  • Attending every class live or recorded

  • Practicing Nat’s Signature Mindfulness in Action and CALM Method techniques at least once a day

  • Practising a guided meditation for at least 5-10 minutes twice a week–give it a go.

  • Reading the workbook and completing the practical guides and mind-work.

Do I need to be Buddhist or believe in Buddhism to take this course?

Of course not :) Nat chooses to teach in a blend of traditional Buddhist wisdom and western mindfulness so that you can get the best of both streams. Nat loves the stories and philosophies that come from the traditional Buddhist teachings, but she wasn’t going to be convinced of these numerous benefits without backing it up with western science. This means you get the best of both worlds to enhance your experience and understanding.
