I'm Nat and I believe in health, healing and mircales ... but I didn't always.
I grew up in a home that was full of tension and pain. I grew up thinking I wasn't good enough, that I had to please people in order to get even a moment of their love and attention, being rejected and bullied. I didn't know it at the time, but this trauma laid the foundations for a life marked by serious health challenges.
From childhood hospital stays for chronic eczema and asthma, self-identity crisis, harmful behavious & IBS in my 20s, becoming anaphylactic to latex, all nuts and tropical fruit in my 30s - for a foodie this completely turned my life upside and sideways and reaffirmed everything from my childhood. I'm alone, I'm not good enough, this world isn't for me.
In 2013, an aggressive rare eye disease that threatened to take my sight completely. By 2015, after multiple surgeries and setbacks, doctors told me I'd be blind within three months.
My anxiety was at its worst. I was living in fear every day. The moment I woke up, before I opened my eyes, fear flooded my body 'will I be able to see anything when I open my eyes today'.
I could have given up, but instead, I chose differently. I found hope to keep going and researched all the experts and ancient wisdom to work out how to heal myself.
In 2018, I took time off work and had my own Eat Pray Love year. My dad took me overseas to see the world one last time. I healed wounds at Buddhist meditation retreats centre. I even met the Dalai Lama..
I found the true power of what finding inner peace can do. The fear fell away and I discovered I had the power to transform my life - to rewrite my story.
Here's what I learned: the practices work. Meditation, mindfulness, energy healing, nervous system regulation - they all work.
But only when you do them consistently.
That's where most of us struggle.
It's really hard to keep up the momentum when life gets hard
or when you don't have the personal strength to keep looking after yourself.
Even now, with everything I know and teach, I'm part of mentorship groups and my Buddhist Sangha.
Because the one thing that helps us stay consistent when things get hard is having support, having someone to give your inspired teachings, new tools and techniques, and a group of like-minded people who get it too.

Mind Your Mind is an ongoing membership program.
You can join at anytime, any day of the month. Your membership starts on the day you join and is automatically renewed on the same day each month or year, depending which option you choose.
On the 1st day of each month the content is dropped in all groups.
You have a whole month to access and have fun with the monthly activities.
There is no pressure, you can look at the content early in the month or later in the month or not at all. This is your journey, there's no pressure or deadlines here.
